Update your Drivers

  3. Right-click on your network adapter, and choose Update driver.
  4. Select Search automatically to receive updates.

Clear Your DNS Cache

You can flush the cache if you are unable to change the DNS address. This will remove any data, settings or other information that could interfere with your machine’s operation.

  1. Command Prompt.
  2. Enter ipconfig.
  3. Hit Enter.

The message should read “Successfully flushed DNS resolver cache.” This step is important to ensure smooth operation of your games and prevent other network issues.

Uninstall Java and Reinstall Java

Java is a key element of Minecraft, especially if you are using the Java version. Java can be uninstalled and reinstalled if you have any issues.

  1. Control Panel.
  2. Select Uninstall an application.
  3. Right-click Java, and choose Uninstall.
  4. After Java has been uninstalled, visit the Java website to download and install the most recent version.
