In this action-horror movie, which also stars Dave Franco and Snoop Dogg in supporting roles, Jamie Foxx plays a pool cleaner who moonlights as a vampire hunter. Sorry to Bother You (2018)

This film examines the bizarre story of Steve Glew, a pitiful factory worker from rural Michigan who, after spotting a profit opportunity in Pez candy dispensers, found himself at the centre of a global trade dispute and in a fight with some of the most influential people in the candy business.

Just after the Berlin Wall fell, his journey would take him to isolated parts of Eastern Europe where he would negotiate multimillion dollar deals involving the little plastic candy dispensers while avoiding corporate spies and shady characters both inside and outside the United States. The story of Steve “Pez Outlaw” Glew is an intriguing one full of real-world characters as colourful as the candy dispensers at its centre. You wouldn’t expect the world of Pez to hold this much drama, but it does.
